Illness and creativity post 1

Some behind-the-scenes photos of me in summer of 2019 filming Felted Sheepskins. I had had a health relapse in 2018 and at the time of these photos, I was on a high dose of steroids. If you have ever experienced steroids you will know what side effects they can cause. Amongst some difficult side effects, I have always been lucky that they seem to send me into a creative burst of euphoria. And even though this time was incredibly difficult in many ways, lots of ideas and excitement came to me during steroid-induced insomnia. Once more, the steroids allowed me to film. Not in a perfectly healthy body at the time, however, I can make and pursue my passion nonetheless. A big part of my life is working out what I can do and how I can do it. It is not always what I hoped, but I work with what I have and if I can't I eventually, after fighting a bit, surrender my ideas and come up with a new idea, a new plan, and let life unravel. If anyone else has similar experiences, I would love to hear how you tackle health whilst pursuing a career.
